EXCELLENT Based on 94 reviews Posted on Zane Merritt23 April 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The customer service was very accommodating and empathetic to the situation. They were able to recover the entirety of a solid state hard drive that was not being recognized by any device for less than half the price of a national company I received a quote from. I am eternally grateful to them and cannot recommend them enough.Posted on xtcfxu19 March 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great job. Prompt & efficient. Chris did a great job & kept me updated with progress. And will help U set up should U need it. I’ll definitely use the service again should I need toPosted on Christopher Robinson12 March 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When my iPhone died I thought I lost every single picture I had ever taken of my two year old daughter. (Amongst other important photos and information). I was devastated. I talked to Verizon, and I went to the Apple Store. Everyone said my phone was cooked, and the data was just lost for good. Luckily a family friend recommended I take my phone to PCS Data Recovery. Within one day of speaking with them, they were able to dissect my phone, and recover absolutely all of my lost pictures and data. They also were able to coach me over the phone on how to increase my cloud storage, and they then directly uploaded all of my lost files to the cloud, so I could immediately access them from my new phone. I found PCS Data recovery to be fast, effective, helpful, and fair. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone, and I am eternally grateful for the awesome work that they do.Posted on Lisa Hong25 December 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chris was very quick to respond and helpful! He was very patient and explained a lot of answers to my questions. Even though it was not cheap to recover my documents, it was definitely cheaper than the other quotes I got from bigger companies. I would trust him if I ever needed assistance with other recovery issues.Posted on Evan Bilsback14 November 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a piece of industrial equipment with a 10 year old computer. When the hard drive crashed Chris was able to get it functioning again long enough to transfer all of the files to a new drive saving us valuable production downtime.Posted on Randy Martell12 November 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chris is phenomenal. He went above and beyond on a Sunday, when others told me they would have to send out my hard drive and maybe get it back in ten days. I own a automotive shop and I had my server go down on a Saturday morning. Foolishly I had no back up on this server that ran every aspect of my business. My shop would not have been the same for months had he not been able to repair the hard drive and retrieve my info for me. 5 stars just doesn't cut it.Posted on HOLLY HUART10 September 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 5 STARS ARE SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH! My 32G flash drive (PNY brand) containing critical documents —needed immediately for a looming deadline— inexplicably broke apart. After researching multiple sites for a local data recovery service, contacting several, & reading reviews, I chose PCS. The service Chris Behlok provided far exceeded my expectations by orders of magnitude. While a national recovery company (with multiple offices across the US) quoted a 7 to 14 day turnaround, Chris was able to recover all the data incredibly *within 24 hours of drop-off*. Yes, the national company offered “expedited“ service, but their quoted starting price was nearly double Chris’ flat rate. Moreover, it was a pleasure communicating with Chris, a consummate professional who was both courteous and personable. I couldn’t be more grateful & highly recommend PCS without reservation of any kind.Posted on Kaitlin Incorvia9 September 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found myself in a tricky situation where I needed data recovery after some unexpected water damage. I called PCS on Saturday, dropped it off Monday morning, and as of this afternoon (Tuesday) my data was recovered! Talk about miracle workers! PCS was friendly, helpful, and thorough throughout the process! While I hope to never need their services again, I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again and will definitely be referring them to anyone in need of data recovery!!Posted on John Gembka23 August 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have two identical laptops but different data on each laptop. I had the data from one laptop backed up, but I neglected to backup the other laptop since doing a complete rebuild of windows, apps, and data in September 2023. I don't know how, but when I reinstalled windows, BitLocker activated (I'm using Windows 11 Pro). I recently attempted to install software from Panasonic to use with files from my video camera. Unfortunately, the software was from 2014 which is when I purchased the camera, and it created a huge problem. Towards the end of the software installation, I got a notice that one particular did not install and it was most likely because a newer version of the file was already on the laptop. I got the usual notice to restart to finish the installation. Unfortunately, when the laptop restarted, BitLocker locked me out of the laptop. The BitLocker unlock code was automatically saved to my Windows Account upon installation back in 2013 but, even with the BitLocker unlock code, I could not get into my computer, and I could not get my data. I've built many desktops and I've upgraded many laptops, so I'm not a complete novice. I tried all sorts of things: switching hard drives from one laptop to the other; booting into windows from a DVD; putting the drive in an external encloser; etc. Nothing worked. BitLocker was mocking me. When my drive was in an external encloser, it looked like a perfectly organized machine. The entire file structure was there, but no data appeared in any folder. And yes, the "show hidden files" box was checked. I was terribly upset because all of my personal files were on the drive. All sorts of things concerning my parents' estate, my personal finances, photos, music, etc. I got in touch with Chris and he was able to retrieve all of the data. The hard drive was an NVMe M.2 type of drive, and it needed to be disassembled to access the right chips that held the data. In a nutshell, this type of hard drive gets destroyed during the data recovery process. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the BitLocker unlock code. Without it, Chris would not have been able to retrieve the data. I've set system restore points on all of my machines, and I've backed up all data to external drives and to cloud storage. It was my fault for not having a backup of my data. It was a painful and pricey lesson, but Chris was very professional and honest about things, and he successfully retrieved my data within a few days. I'm very grateful for his services.Posted on Diana Abou11 August 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t think Chris enough. He helped me recover what I thought were lost videos on an old external hard drive. He was incredibly compassionate, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for all your computer needs!!!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
